1 lb beans
50 ml vegetable oil
3 garlic cloves
1 medium onion
1 carrot (optional)
1 tsp sweet paprika
1Put the beans to soak in cold water, the day before. If you don’t soak them the cooking time it doubles.
2Boil the beans for 10 minutes. Change the water. Repeat the proceduce 2-3 times. In the last water let it boil, add the carrot cut in four and the salt. Simmer for 45 minute or until done. Cooking time varies depending on the beans type.
3Slice the onion and sauteed in vegetable oil. When it becomes translucent add the sweet paprika and stir. Set aside. Drain the beans. Add the beans, vegetable oil and the garlic in the food processor and make a paste. Decorate it with the sauteed onions.
